Pump Station Equipment Specification
For a project to create new facilities in west Texas, Arseal worked with the client to specify and select all of the equipment and materials. In order to procure the correct pumps for the application, Arseal worked with existing client specifications and industry standards to provide operating conditions available and required of the new pumps. This documentation was submitted to vendors in the form of a “Request for Quote” or RFQ. After the quotes were received, Arseal’s team performed a technical bid evaluation to confirm the pumps being offered by the vendors met the application requirements and the client’s expectations. After questions for clarifications of the quote were answered, technical compliance, cost, and lead time were all weighed and a vendor selected. Arseal provided procurement support for purchasing and tracking the pumps until received on-site.
