RETAINING STRUCTURES

Arseal has the capability to design retaining wall structures of various types for multiple applications. This includes retaining walls for road or bridge applications, erosion control, temporary excavation support or to protect below-grade structures. Arseal has experience in reinforced concrete retaining walls, solider pile walls with grouted tiebacks, soil nail walls and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls. Arseal performs all the necessary structural analyses using up-to-date software to confirm the structural integrity of a retaining wall.

Retaining Structures

Arseal provided structural analysis, construction drawings and construction support for reinforced concrete retaining wall structures at a terminal facility. The retaining wall structure design was multi-faceted, as considerations included impacts on tank secondary containment volumes, finished grade elevations as related to piping and pump elevations and the potential for substantial surcharge loading.
