Water Piping Improvements
About The Project
Arseal performed a piping analysis and recommend design improvements to the Reverse Osmosis Water Distribution system at the Lockheed Martin (Lockheed) facility located in Marietta, GA. The piping system had experienced many failures at various locations throughout the basement of multiple aircraft hangars and support buildings.
Arseal performed the analysis and identified the failure locations and failure modes. Recommendations were made to improve the pipe support structures at specific locations and expansion joints were selected and specified for installation at high-stress locations.
